BULLDOGS ANNOUNCE 2008 SUMMER HOCKEY CAMP
HAMILTON, ON – The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that the Club will host a 2008 Summer Hockey Camp from July 21st-to-25th at the Mohawk 4-Ice Centre.

This elite summer hockey camp will offer boys and girls ages 10-to-15 the opportunity of a lifetime to develop all areas of their game including skating, puck handling, shooting and off-ice strength and conditioning with their hometown Hamilton Bulldogs. The goal is to instill a balance of skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and respect into the young hockey players at the camp.

Each player will learn first hand from Hamilton Bulldogs’ players, coaches and from one of the areas most sought after hockey training professionals in the business, Kelly Reed. (www.kellyreedhockey.com)

This Hockey Camp will offer a low instructor-to-participant ratio, allowing for individual attention and analysis of a player’s strength and also areas needing improvement. Of special interest, The Hamilton Bulldogs Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Darren McConaghy will provide an in-depth off-ice training instruction that will also include seminars on nutrition and physical training as well as a fitness evaluation.

The Camp will be held at the Mohawk 4-Ice Centre located at 710 Mountain Brow Blvd. in Hamilton, Ontario. The Camp will begin each day at approximately 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.

This is meant to be a high-level hockey camp primarily focused on improving individual skill sets. On-ice training will be an hour and a half each day. Only individuals that participated in a ‘AA’ level (or higher) during the 2007-2008 Minor Hockey Season are eligible for registration.

COST - $599 (Taxes included)

Due to the overwhelming demand for the Hamilton Bulldogs Summer Hockey Camp, registration is limited to the first 100 participants. Registration procedures will be available on-line (www.hamiltonbulldogs.com) or by contacting Paul Giordano at 905-777-2364 starting on Friday, April 11th.
